Prayer to Saint Joseph to get a house

Sharing is caring!

São José is a powerful intercessor for those who are looking for housing.

Saint Joseph is a powerful intercessor for those who are looking for a home. It was to him that God entrusted the care of Jesus and Mary; it was he who sought shelter for Mary the night she was to give birth, and then she was still in charge of protecting the Child Jesus and her Mother while Herod wanted to kill the children; it was Joseph who provided a roof for the Holy Family to live in peace.

Prayer to Saint Joseph

Glorious and good Saint Joseph,

you who knew all sorts of tribulation

to find lodging for Jesus and Mary,

remember your concern for them,

your errands and the closed doors

that you found while accompanying

the Baby Jesus on the way to the census,

then into exile, and finally

back to your country.

Even in precariousness,

you always took care of material conditions,

expressing your love and concern,

your faithful presence and your protection

to Jesus and Mary.

Sail through my search of the house itself,

that the search be easy and clear;

takes special care of my relationship

with the owners of the house and

conditions of rent (or purchase).

Let this new house be a place.

cozy, quiet with good neighbors

and a good relationship between all.

May all who visit us

be received by your presence.

Introduce in our home

the love of Jesus and Mary.

Amen.
